Description: Pair of Gustavian chests of drawers from Sweden, circa 1790, with grey-white paint and patina.
Below the top plate there is a finely carved dentil molding, while the corpus contains three drawers flanked by slanted corners with fluting and finished at the top with a decorative carved diamond motif.
The chests stand on slender, tapered legs with fluting, giving a light and classic expression typical of the Swedish Gustavian furniture tradition. A decorative and timeless set with elegant craftsmanship and historical character.
