The tray has a small chip on one corner.
Royal Copenhagen begins producing the Musselmalet as frame no. 1 in 1775 and is in continuous production. The semi-blonde frame comes into being in 1886.
The motif is a stylized version of the classic Chinese flower painting, which is several thousand years old.
