Description: Pair of French bronze candlesticks with gilded base and top, the stem is a silver-plated caryatid.

The candlesticks are made by Ferdinand Bardebienne and stamped "Barbedienne" on the bottom. Barbedienne was born in 1810 and died in 1892, he was a well-known French brazier.
