Niels Erik From founded silversmith at the age of 23 years in 1931.
From 1944 he began to mark his jewelry with his own name.
N. E. From is particularly famous for his beautiful, art nouveau jewelry in silver. These are often set with semi-precious stones or amber.
In the 1950s, From began to produce more modern jewelry, in a more functionalistic style.
After successfully selling jewelery designed by other artists in the 1970s and 1980s, Niels Erik Froms's workshop closes in 1990.
