Art Deco vase with seahorses and fish

Description: Height 18 cm.

Beautiful press glass vase from the 1930s.
The vase has a large Fantail on each side and several small fish around it, while its handles are seahorses. The vase is in really high quality and in really good condition.

It is from Czechoslovakia and produced by Inwald Glassworks.
The type is called Barolac glass and comes in a variety of colors and this frosted version.

When Barolac glass was blown into iron molds, many of them were lost during the war as they were too heavy to ship out of Czechoslovakia to safety in England.
