Emerald green tulip glass from Holmegaard

Description: Height 10 cm.

The color is quite unusual and not green like the more common classic bottle green from Holmegaard.
Tulip glass is first seen in Holmegaard Glasværk's catalog from 1867 and where it is offered for the last time in the catalog from 1915.

They are offered in at least six colors and with gilded decoration, which was offered at double the price, of which these are very rare today.

The glass is mouth blown and with a sand nail at the bottom which indicates that the glass is from before 1890.

It is in nice condition with a little glass sickness at the bottom part.
