Handkerchief vase from Murano

Description: Height 12-22 cm.

The vase is acid signed, which is almost impossibly to show in a picture.
The Fazzoletto vase or Handkerchief vase was designed by Fulvio Bianconi and Paolo Venini for the Venino glassworks on the island, Murano off the coast of Venice.

The vase is blown in the special reticello technique. Reticello is Italian and means "A thin net", which are the many thin glass sticks that the vase is made of.

The vase is in good condition.
