The artist Ebbe Sadolin chose a map of Denmark in the center of a six-pointed Christmas Star within a circle as this year's motif. The map of Denmark is in no way geographically correct, as it only shows Jutland and the largest islands in the blue enamel, which is meant to represent the sea, straits and belts.
